Toyo At2 Vs At3 Forum
Living in alaska where 5/6 months outa the year is on the white stuff this becomes important factor. I really like the way it made my truck look but i was disappointed in the noise.

I wanted to try something with a bit better snow performance then the cooper xlt.
Toyo at2 vs at3 forum. I currently am running toyo rt's which i really like. The cooper is a 315/70/17 which is 34.33 tall. I live in ut and so snow performance is a factor as well.
I previously had c rated ko2's and was extremely happy with them. These look much better, will put on the list to investigate when my cooper at3's wear out. Quiet on pavement but aggressive enough off the road.
We were on our second set of at2s on this truck. I wish the at3 had a 37 in 17. I have the at3’s on my 2020 f350.
I have run toyo at2 and at3 and if you are thinking of the at3 also consider the falken at3w which i have also run and really like. I have a 21 f150 ordered and am on the search for tires but i won’t be doing the at3’s because of the noise.
I changed them out because i wanted bigger tires. The at2 is a very popular tire. I just decided to try the toyo.
That would be the hot ticket for me on a power wagon. I have run 3 sets of r/t's in 35's. I rolled with the toyo oc rt’s.

Toyo at ii extreme is a 35x12.50x17 and also has a 3,195 pound load rating. I can get 4 coopers for just over $1,000 shipped. I'm very happy with my at3's after about 5k miles so far.
Recently we changed out the tires from toyo at2 to toyo ct. I'm looking at buying some new 295/70r18s and i'm considering the toyo open country at3 but i haven't seen any discussion about them. The at3's look and perform better but they only come in f load range (12 ply) which i think removes it from being an option.
I have had the at2’s on my previous truck and was happy with the noise. Not much of a price difference. What follows is a bit of a comparison/review and a few things i learned about the ct from toyo tech for those interested.
I was comparing them to nitto ridge grapplers and liked the heavier construction on toyo. I've read that the wet traction wasn't great, and the at3 is supposed to be better. No direct experience, but a good friend just replaced his ko2s on his 4runner with the new toyo at3.
I had toyo at2 before the coopers and the at2 snow/ice traction was a bit better. It just needed an update most likely. Not at3 but i had toyo at2's.

The at2's are e load range (10 ply) and should fit the bill pretty nicely as. I have done my best to discuss, at length, all the important characteristics of both the models. Anyone running them that can give some feedback?
Rctip is more a function of load and heat, and additional pressure may need to be tailored for feel, even wear across the tread, and sidewall rollover in cornering beyond that. I had the at3w’s on a 2019 ranger and never had an issue. Still debating whether or not to do lt’s, as i won’t require an lt for a few.
Liked the tire, loved the 285/75r18 size. Will be moving up to a 305/55r20 tire and i had originally planned on going with the toyo at2's however the at3's are out now. At3 does seem popular though.
